Thoughts

The steps to health regarding thoughts are three:

  • positive thoughts
  • emotional stability
  • spiritual strength

It doesn’t matter what religion you are, it doesn’t matter how great or horrible your life may be at the moment, and it doesn’t matter who did what to who or when.  You can’t control anyone else… but yourself!  So managing these three things are important.

Sometimes you’ll see posts about how to live a more positive life.  Other times you’ll see posts on how to handle those difficult emotions, and healthier ways to deal with them.  Finally, there will be posts about strengthening your connection to your creator and clearing your mind.  All of these aspects are essential to your health.

A Step into Health focuses on ways to change to a more positive way of thinking and living.  You move right and eat right and think negatively, expecting to be healthy.  All aspects of your life are important for health.  Take charge of yours today!

Trauma

When I talk about traumas, I’m talking about physical trauma in general.

  • recovering from injuries
  • preventing injuries

Recovering from injuries includes topics related to healing from the most minor of injuries to major ones.  We could cover shin splints, sore muscles from exercising, car accidents, etc.  Lots of different things fit into this category.  It really isn’t the main focus, however.

Our MAIN focus on the physical side is how to PREVENT injuries and maintain a lean, fit body capable of lasting a lifetime.  We want to focus on how to get moving from the most sedentary state, give ideas for fun and creative forms of exercise, and how to keep your body working the way it should so it doesn’t get injured!

It’s like walking… one step at a time.  If you try to jump into everything all at once, rather than a step at a time, it is more difficult to maintain the changes and progress from there.

Toxins

This is the third essential step to health, if you want to think about health in three steps that can be ordered any way you like.  I am not condoning becoming a paranoid person who avoids absolutely everything at any cost because you are afraid of toxins.  If that were the case, you should probably live in a bubble  - but a glass one, cause don’t get me started on plastic!

  • toxins you eat
  • toxins you drink
  • toxins you breathe
  • toxins you absorb through the skin

We aren’t just going to rant about all the bad things man has created in the name of “science.”  What would be the point of that?  See Thoughts if you are confused on that one.  I want to keep things positive so if there is something noted here that might be on my “Big Bad Wolf” list, you are more than likely going to see some suggestions on alternatives.
